Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3/4 Lb. of 80/20 Ground Beef
- 4 Pieces of Bacon
- 4 Pieces of American Cheese
- 1/3 Cup of Yellow Onion, Diced
- 4 Hot Dog Buns
- Salt and Pepper
- Ketchup and Mustard (optional)
Steps
-
Heat your Blackstone to medium heat and cook the bacon until well done, about 5-6 minutes. Once the bacon is finished, remove from the griddle and drain on a paper towel.
-
Lay out a sheet of plastic wrap on your cutting board and place 1/4 of the ground beef in the center. Using your fingers, flatten out the ground beef into a rectangle slightly longer than your hot dog buns. Season with salt and pepper and lay 1 piece of bacon in the middle. Cut the cheese in half and lay over the bacon. Add a bit of diced onion.
-
Using the plastic wrap, roll the ground beef around the bacon and cheese to form a "link". It should look like a sausage or a hot dog. Be sure to pinch the edges and seal the gaps for a tight burger dog. Season with a bit more salt and pepper.
-
Cook the burger dogs in the bacon grease for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
-
To plate, add the burger dogs to the buns and add any condiment you like.
